[be]"I'm Briarstar, leader of JungleClan,"[/be] she said, ignoring Sabrina. She shook the boy's hand cautiously. How was it possible for him to even be friends with Sabrina? How was it even possible for her to be leader? The girl stepped back and placed her hands on her hips. She had tried to be friendly at first, but that had failed.

(Sabrina's my most beloved OC, and I find it amusing how other characters outside of my mind react to her. XD)
Phoenix shook the girl's hand, [be]"It's nice to meet you, Briarstar."[/be] He said before stepping back himself.
[be]"Where did Elek run off to?"[/be] Sabrina asked, her hands on the back of her head.
[be]"Home."[/be]
Sabrina rolled her eyes. Of course Elektra went home. Looking at Alauna, she said, [be]"We're a bit of a trio. Elektra, Phoenix, and me. Goldenshock, Fireclaw, and Midnightstar. Elektra's huge on science, and she's constantly doing experiments, chemical stuff, all of that, at her house. I'm always on this,"[/be] Sabrina lifted the laptop case at her side a bit to show what she meant, [be]"And Phoenix plays console games the most. What are your hobbies?"[/be] She wondered if this girl even had hobbies. She may just sit around at the park all day, but Sabrina doubted that. What person would be able to be a Clan leader if they simply sat around at a park between school and home?

[be]"I am an artist. I do pencil art as well as photography."[/be] Alauri still looked un-trusting, but she seemed to have melted the ice slightly. [be]"That's nice that you got your friend and your boyfriend in the same Clan as you,"[/be] she said, the slightest hint of unwanted jealousy creeping into her voice.

[be]"Art.. Interesting. I've always wished I was good at art."[/be] Sabrina admitted. She couldn't help herself to comment at what was said next, [be]"I suppose you could say it was StarClan's choice, or just destiny. Something like that. Why? Is there someone close to you who you wish was in your Clan?"[/be]
Phoenix couldn't help but smile at this. Sabrina might be making a friend who wasn't him or Elektra! He'd have to congratulate her later.

[be]"No," [/be]Alauri admitted. [be]"It would still be nice, though."[/be] Sabrina seemed to change so rapidly. CaveClan's leader was quite the puzzle. She glanced at Phoenix skeptically.

Slightly confused, Sabrina shrugged, [be]"I suppose. It wouldn't be fun to fight someone you love, I guess. That's what Elektra's stuck doing.. Her little sister, Holly, isn't in CaveClan. Elektra hates that."[/be]
Since when is she ignorant like this? Does she magically trust this girl or something? Elektra would kill Sabrina if she were here right now! Phoenix cast a fearful glance at Sabrina, who didn't at all notice that he was even looking at her.

The girl nodded sympathetically. [be]"That would be awful."[/be] She looked again at Phoenix. What's his deal? She thought. Her eyes flicked back to Sabrina. Alauri couldn't help but feeling that she might have gone from irritating to potential friend.

Sabrina nodded.
[be]"You know, I really have to get going. My parents wanted me home early tonight."[/be] Phoenix said. He held Sabrina's hand for a few moments before walking off, waving as he left.
[be]"See ya, Phoenix!"[/be] Sabrina called. She let out a sigh after, [be]"As big as this city is, I have to admit, it's a pretty bland place sometimes. Wouldn't you agree?"[/be]

[be]"Yes,"[/be] agreed Alauri. [be]"I feel bad for those who can't be warriors."[/be] She frowned thoughtfully. [be]"How long do you think it will be until there are more?"[/be] She asked- dreading the frightfully small size of her Clan. She looked away from Sabrina for a moment and to the park around. Was anyone else there one of them?

Considering everything that Alauri was saying, Sabrina took a minute or two before finally replying, [be]"I feel bad for them, yet at the same time, I can't help but feel that.. that maybe, in some way, they're lucky. They most likely have easier lives, I'll say that and the fact that they don't have to deal with so many cats they know dying, probably, and the won't have to die twice. Once as a cat, once as a human."[/be] She said at first, then after, [be]"It's very possible that we'll see a burst of new cats soon, I can imagine. After that, it might be more gradual, but I can't be sure of anything either way."[/be] Not one to worry, Sabrina took things like this with a sense of nonchalance; it'd all turn out fine, and that's what mattered to her.

[be]"In our case, we die ten times," [/be]She said quietly. After listening to the rest of what Sabrina had to say, she nodded. She hoped. CaveClan seemed the biggest at the moment. She stretched and tensed her legs. She was tired, but didn't want to leave. At home, she'd only find that her mother was still working. [be]"Is there anything you want to do?"[/be] She asked hesitantly.

Shock and horror pulsed through Sabrina: she'd completely forgotten that, as a cat, she did have nine lives, plus her human life. Shuddering, she said, [be]"I-I had forgotten that part.. You're right."[/be] Maybe it's not worth being a leader, Sabrina thought, no, I can handle it.
Oh, were they friends or something? If so, Sabrina hadn't noticed. [be]"That depends. Do you play video games?"[/be]

After a shrug, Alauri nodded. She wasn't ready to call Sabrina 'friend' but why stand there doing nothing? The girl wondered what she had in mind, seeing as she was so hopeless at finding things to do.

[be]"To the arcade, then!"[/be] Sabrina was definitely a leader more than a follower. Being pretty controlling, she wasn't one prepared to listen to others' orders, and grew rebellious if told to do something she didn't want to do.
(Think we should start a new thread in the arcade?)

[be]"Okay,"[/be] replied Alauri with a smile. Her dark brown eyes were still guarded, but were growing less wary. I wonder if we could actually become friends. Maybe that would avoid contentions between the clans, she thought.
((Sure))
