Brightsun padded through the alleys of the city, her paws knowing exactly where they were going. There was a known dumpster, a huge one, that was constantly flowing, streaming, piled with prey. Mice, rats, and birds all fought for the human food that wasn't even spoiled, yet thrown away all the same.
Halting, Brightsun realized she'd forgotten something: A Clanmate or two! After all, LightClan cats lived in, really, the most dangerous territory, what with humans and other cats about. They needed to watch out for each other.
Brightsun bolted back to the 'camp' of LightClan, clearing the same fence she'd leaped over to leave the camp, [be]"Anyone up for some hunting?"[/be] Brightsun asked quietly.

Rosepaw lay on her back, tiny paws stretched toward the sky. She leaped to her feet at the sound of Brightsun's voice. [be]"Oh! Me! Me!" [/be]she cheered excitedly. Her bright green-blue eyes lit up with excitement and she bounced all around. She was not very good at containing her excitement.

Brightsun tensed as she looked around for the source of the voice, hoping that it wasn't a grouch who answered. Despite it not sounding like a crouch, you can't really tell how someone is just by their voice. When the ginger she-cat looked at who she was dealing with, she relaxed. This cat may be young, but she wasn't grouchy, and Brightsun could definitely deal with that. [be]"Alright, then let's go!"[/be] Brightsun mewed back, jumping back onto the top of the high fence and leaping down at the other side. She looked through the fence, wondering if the small she-cat would be able to manage getting over it.

The little tabby apprentice clambered up the fence, unable to reproduce Brightsun's leap. She clung to the top for a moment before gracefully leaping down on the other side. Her paws tingled and she leaped in a circle. She had enough energy to fuel the entire city for months.

There was really no denying it- Wildfire was bored. That could usually be remedied by pestering her littermates, but they were both "too busy to be bothered" or some such nonsense. Not that that would have usually stopped her, but these were her siblings in the human world too, and if she annoyed them too much she'd have to live with them after. Thus, there was really only one option left- she'd have to pester her other clanmates, instead!
Her head poked from the small shelter she'd been resting under, vivid green orbs scanning the camp before catching a pair of retreating figures. "Hey, wait up!" She called after them (a bit louder than was probably required) before bolting towards the fence guarding the camp. She gave a small huff as she leaped, nearly overshooting the top of the fence, but managed to dig her claws in and check her momentum before hurtling down to the other side.
"You're going hunting, right? Mind if I join you? I could really use a bite to eat, and besides, the more the merrier!" She watched them intently, eyes gleaming in excitement more befitting an apprentice than a seasoned warrior.

Thank Starclan it's not busy, I'd hate to see anyone with any diseases in the city, Mossnose thought to herself. The she-cat had positioned herself carefully on her back, soaking up all the weak winter sun that she could. Although, what can I be doing? With no one to heal, what am I supposed to be doing? She sighed, emerald eyes glinting. It's not like I've been trained to hunt...And now I regret telling Wildfire that I was too busy for her...

(Posting order? Mid > Jungle > Shade > Falcon? [be]Post finished.[/be])
Brightsun's eyes glowed. She was no longer having to be alone with one other cat, forced into conversation. The bright ginger tabby she-cat nodded to Wildfire with a quick and quiet, "Sure, you can join in."
She noticed another she-cat nearby and called, "Hey, want to join us?" Wasn't that the medicine cat or something? Brightsun couldn't quite remember, to be honest.

Rosepaw's mood dampened a little when the warrior seemed relieved to have another cat join them. She would have been seriously hurt had she not been so excited. [be]"Hullo,"[/be] she said to the other cat. She wondered if either of them would end up as her mentor.

If the warrior had been happier, or the apprentice had been less than pleased, Wildfire didn't notice. She nodded a quick thanks to the other ginger cat, before turning to the apprentice. "Hiyas!" She chirped brightly, and would have bolted off right away in search of prey had the warrior not spoken up again. Oh, was there a fourth cat? What fun! She scanned the area briefly, before her eyes landed on her sister.
"Yeah, Mossnose, come join us!" She practically purred with excitement, tail lashing back and forth. "Not that you'll be much help~!" She crooned teasingly, hoping to provoke her sister into getting up to join them.

"Oh sister dearest, how cute your excitement is. Of course I'll come, just give me a minute." Mossnose stretched as she got up, midnight fur rippling in the light. She bounded cheerfully over to the fence, barely clearing it when she leaped. "I suppose it has been too long since I've been out and about. Especially to hunt..." Mossnose muttered to herself.
"Ah...Brightsun, is it? Thanks for letting me come along." She turned to the bubbly apprentice, somewhat hesitant. "Hi, how are you?"

Sisters, huh? Brightsun suddenly felt a pang of sadness. If only she had a sibling. What she'd give for a little sister or brother to teach everything she knew, to help out, to play with!
Blinking, Brightsun cleared her mind to answer Mossnose, "No problem." She mewed shyly, feeling slightly anxious to have attention from so many cats on her.
The bright ginger-pelted warrior sighed, looking from Wildfire to Mossnose with a flash of jealousy.
"Well, uh," Brightsun began again, "Shall we get going, then? I know of a place that's always swarming with prey."

All of Roseepaw's cheeriness returned as the medicine cat spoke to her. [be]"Hi!"[/be] she squealed. [be]"I'm fine."[/be] She swished her gold-orange tail and her eyes were almost closed by the wideness of her grin.

Wildfire scanned the group of she-cats quickly, giggling softly. Three bright gingers didn't exactly make for the best hunting party, and it wasn't like her sister would be any help. She gave the hyper little apprentice an amused grin, before turning back to Brightsun. "I think we're all ready. Let's go~!"

Mossnose also grinned, her mind along the same track as her sister's. The black she-cat bumped into Wildfire, playfully baring her teeth. "Ready to kill some stuff?" Her black tail swished as she began to get more and more eager.

Brightsun, with a wave of her tail, ran off, trying to keep a good pace, hoping not to lose any cats on the way.
It was another few minutes before the LightClanner was back at the dumpster, and there she crouched, stalking forward, looking at the many birds fighting with rats, trying to get mice, things of the like. Looking back, Brightsun nodded to the others, giving them the sign to charge in and get whatever prey they could.
