Necklaces have been appearing, and each one is usually found soon after by the person destined to own it. Each necklace has two special emblems: your prefix, and your suffix. There are many combinations of prefixes and suffixes, and although you may share a prefix or suffix with another necklace owner, no two will ever be exactly the same when yourself and the other person are warriors.
Upon putting on your necklace, you will note that the next time your emotions run high, it will glow, and a cat you'll become, finding yourself in the same place where you just were, but with an urge to go to a certain place. That certain place is your Clan, your home as a cat. If you are led to the Gathering Rock, then you must be destined to be a loner, rogue, or a house cat.
When you've gone through your first day in your cat life, you will transform back into a human and be in your bedroom, regardless of where you were before. At this point, whenever you grab the emblems on your necklace, you will become a cat. You will be in your Clan's camp, no matter where you were when you transformed back into a human.
