This should help with all of those who are wondering how long it takes to become an apprentice, etc.
Kits to Apprentices
Regardless of the kit's age, you must wait 2 days in real life before asking your leader for an apprentice ceremony. Of course, if you wish, you may have your kit stay a kit longer than 2 days, but 2 is the minimum.
Apprentices to Warriors
In order to become a warrior, your apprentice must complete the following requirements:
- The apprentice must've seen the territory at least once.
- The apprentice must've had at least 1 [you]full[/you] battle training session.
- The apprentice must've had at least 1 [you]full[/you] session of hunting.
- The apprentice must've done at least 2 chores for the Clan. Chores include cleaning dens and helping the medicine cat collect herbs.
Medicine Cat Apprentice to Fully-Named Medicine Cat Apprentice
Because medicine cat apprentices mainly receive their full name before the death of their mentor, they aren't the full medicine cat just because they have their full name.
- Must have learned most herbs. At least 3 [you]full[/you] herb-learning sessions.
- Must have learned basic fighting and hunting skills; not as intense as a normal apprentice.
- Must have seen the territory at least once.
- Must have helped, if not fully, healed a cat at least once. Watching their mentor healing a cat, or helping a birth count as "helped", even if the apprentice didn't only stood back and watched.
- Must have gone herb-collecting, with or without their mentor, at least once.
Adult Ranks to Elder
Work in progress.
